Before joining the Edgewater family, Howard worked at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville for twenty years.
Howard has cooked a wide variety of styles including fine dining, fusion, and pub, and was honoured as most respected Deerhurst employee in his last year there. We call him The Meat King - braised short ribs, grilled steaks, and slow roasted prime rib on the bone.
The more local cuisine the better. Farm fresh foods, locally grown produce.

Alana worked at Deerhurst for four years and in that time she worked in all kitchen departments from Pastry to Banquets through to running Antler Steakhouse for the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
She describes her cooking as fresh and fun using locally sourced ingredients for healthy dishes that still pack a lot of flavour.
We wanted a wider variety of food for the new menu. A better blend of pub and fine dining while making it more trendy yet still home made cooking.
